WonderFox DVD Ripper

Developed by WonderFox Soft, this is the less powerful version of a very useful tool that can be used to rip DVDs. If you get WonderFox DVD Ripper Lite, you can use it to rip DVDs, even protected ones, to a variety of formats. Just click the “Compare with Advanced Edition” button in the upper right hand corner to see what features you’re not getting by using WonderFox DVD Ripper Lite.

Installing WonderFox DVD Ripper Lite goes something like this: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard. Please note that you will need admin rights to complete the installation process. I managed to successfully install the application only after I ran the installer as administrator.

Instructions on how to use WonderFox DVD Ripper Lite are clearly presented on the application’s interface. Not that you need them, since the interface is very easy to use. Please note that there's a Settings menu that is hidden out of sight. Click the bar down at the bottom on the interface to reveal this menu. And up in the right hand corner there’s a button that says “Compare with Advanced Edition” – it presents the differences between WonderFox DVD Ripper Lite and WonderFox DVD Video Converter.
